1. GENERAL TERMS & CONDITIONS
Agreement to Terms
By using our space or making a booking, you are entering into a binding agreement to comply with all Singapore laws and regulations regarding your activities. We expect all users to maintain a respectful environment towards our space, staff members, and fellow users. Please be aware that any violation of our rules will lead to an immediate and permanent termination of your access to our facilities. To ensure our terms remain effective and up-to-date, we reserve the right to modify them at any time without prior notice.
2. RESERVATION & REGISTRATION PROTOCOL
Booking Process
To ensure smooth operations, all bookings must be completed through our website with a minimum of 12 hours advance notice. When making your booking and payment, please carefully verify all information you enter. Your booking will only be considered confirmed after successful payment processing, at which point you will receive a confirmation email. Please note that we cannot take responsibility for bookings made with incorrect details or email addresses, and failure to receive a confirmation email due to such errors will not be accepted as a valid reason for missing your appointment.
First-time Registration For new users, it is mandatory to complete our One-time Registration form with your complete details before proceeding with your first booking.
3. OPERATIONAL PROTOCOLS
Professional Conduct
All users must strictly adhere to local regulations without exception. We expect professional behaviour and conduct from everyone using our facilities.
Please note that body massage services are not permitted at our 38B Circular Road location.
We strictly prohibit any illegal operations, aggressive client solicitation, or attempts to appropriate clients from other users.
Any violation of these protocols will result in the immediate termination of your access privileges.
Security Measures
For your safety and security, any unauthorised access attempts will be reported to the relevant authorities immediately.
Financial Terms
Please understand that all payments made to Gentle Ground are non-refundable under any circumstances.
Any unused purchases will remain valid only for a period of two months from the date of purchase.
4. FACILITY UTILISATION
To ensure fair usage and provide an optimal experience for all users, additional charges apply under the following circumstances:
Entry Protocol
Access Timing: Access to our facilities is strictly limited to your scheduled booking time. Early entry will incur an unbooked fee (early check-in) of $45/hour or part thereof.
Grace Period: We offer a complimentary 5-minute grace period before your booking begins. During this time, no adjustments or unbooked fees will apply.
15-Minute Leniency: For those entering up to 15 minutes before their scheduled time, we are pleased to offer leniency by adjusting the end time of your booking accordingly, without applying the unbooked fee (early check-in).
Early Entry Fee: If entry exceeds the 15-minute leniency period, the unbooked fee (early check-in) of $45/hour or part thereof will be applied.
Check-Out Rules
Time Management: Charges will apply if you or your belongings remain in the space beyond your scheduled booking time. This includes any personal items left in the studio after your session ends, as this constitutes continued usage.
Grace Period: We offer a complimentary 5-minute grace period after your booking begins. During this time, no adjustments or unbooked fees will apply.
Between Bookings: For same-day bookings in the same studio, the space must be completely vacated after each session. All personal belongings, work materials, and equipment must be removed. Any items left behind will be considered as continued usage and will incur additional charges.
Extension and Gap Usage Protocol
Overtime: Last-minute extensions before or after existing bookings are not permitted. Any overtime usage will incur a charge of $45/hour or part thereof.
Gap Usage: To close gaps between appointments, please contact our team via email or WhatsApp at least 12 hours in advance. An unbooked fee of $45/hour applies for such usage without this advance notice.
Locker Fees
Day Use: Complimentary
Overnight Use: $5 per night
Monthly Use: $40 per month (see Subscription Terms below)
5. PREMISE PROTOCOLS
Standard Operating Procedures
No food or animals permitted at our premises
Reception area is for temporary waiting only and all client consultations and treatments must be held in our studios
Studio Operations
Respect designated studio capacity limits
Keep furniture in original positions
Clear up and remove all trash after use
Linen & Equipment Care
Use only what you need and handle fresh supplies with clean hands
Follow proper hygiene protocols for all linens
Dispose of used needles in the designated needle disposal bin
Sanitise equipment between clients
Use towels/aprons for client services only
Maintain cleanliness standards
Place used laundry in the designated metal bin
Stains, Damage & Loss Policy
Please request our price list before making any bookings to understand potential charges
Users are liable for any damages during bookings
Repair/replacement costs will be charged to card on file
Lost items will be billed at retail price
Stains on linens and equipment will be billed according to our cleaning or replacement costs
6. LEGAL PROVISIONS
Misrepresentation
It is important to avoid misrepresenting or trying to deceive others about any affiliation with Gentle Ground Pte Ltd. This includes using our company name, logo, and misleading your guests by claiming that you are part of or associated with Gentle Ground. We retain the right to pursue compensation for any attempts to mislead your guests into believing that you have any ownership of Gentle Ground or the shop. If any disputes arise between your guest and yourself based on groundless assumptions that we are representing you, you will be held responsible and required to compensate Gentle Ground.
Limitation of Liability
Gentle Ground Pte Ltd shall not be liable for any injuries sustained by you or your guests while on our premises. Additionally, we do not assume responsibility for any loss of personal belongings or valuables within our premises. While we may engage third-party vendors or suppliers for maintenance and servicing of our premises, neither they nor we shall be held liable for any loss of personal property or valuables.
Information Security & Confidentiality
All users are required to maintain strict confidentiality regarding any proprietary information and trade secrets that may be shared within our facilities. You agree that any confidential information shared by Participants or any of our representatives is confidential and proprietary and belongs solely and exclusively to the Participant who discloses it or to us. Not to disclose such information to any other person or use it in any manner other than in discussion with Participants during training sessions.
Data Protection
By making a booking, you agree that Gentle Ground Pte Ltd may collect, use, and disclose your personal data for sharing marketing materials that you have agreed to receive. If you wish to opt out of our communications, please send your request to hello@thegentleground.com.
Operational Compliance & Team Management
All users must maintain current and valid permits and insurance coverage for their conducted activities. You confirm that you have obtained all necessary approvals for your team's activities held on the premises. For those with a team or employees, you declare that the staff submitted with your registration are under your responsibility.
Indemnification
By using our facilities, you agree to release Gentle Ground from liability and agree to indemnify and hold harmless Gentle Ground Pte Ltd and their directors, officers, agents, servants, and employees from any losses, claims, damages, liabilities, costs, and expenses that may arise from your use of our facilities or the actions of your clients and guests.
7. SUBSCRIPTION TERMS
Subscription Renewal Terms
A renewal notification will be sent 7 days before subscription expiry
Auto-renewal charges are final with no cancellation or refund options
We reserve the right to adjust rates and benefits without prior notice
General Subscription Terms
Gentle Ground reserves the right to modify all subscription terms, benefits, and location usage at our discretion.
These terms apply across all Gentle Ground locations.
We do not accept liability for personal property loss or damage during facility usage.
All standard booking terms and conditions apply.

LOCKER SUBSCRIPTION TERMS
Subscription Overview
Non-refundable Fees: Rental fees are non-refundable and cannot be exchanged, transferred, or cashed out.
Prohibited Items: The storage of hazardous materials, illegal items, or perishables is strictly prohibited.
Liability: Management is not responsible for the loss or damage of items stored in or around lockers.
Locker Access: Management reserves the right to access lockers for maintenance or emergencies, with prior notice provided whenever possible.
Additional Charges
Overstay Charges: A daily fee of $5 will apply for items left beyond the rental period.
Key Loss Fee: A charge of SGD10 applies for any lost locker key.
Liability
The management assumes no responsibility for any loss or damage to personal property stored inside or outside the lockers All other general terms and conditions stated above apply to locker subscriptions
